Over 200 mixed singles and doubles leagues are taking place at local parks and public courts across the nation all year round for adults over the age of 18, and we want you to get involved.
Never competed before? No problem – we’ll find the right group for you using your ITF World Tennis Number, so you play opponents at the right standard for you.

Find a Local Tennis League
If you want to meet new people and play friendly, competitive tennis at your local park or public courts then you can enter – it’s that simple.
From Aberdeen to Plymouth, we have Local Tennis Leagues all over the country so you’ll be sure to find a league near you.
We welcome players of all abilities but you must be over the age of 18 to sign up.
Leagues take place over an eight-week window, and you can arrange matches whenever you want within these weeks – so it’s ideal if you’re looking to compete around your busy lifestyle.
Different leagues start and finish on slightly different dates so head to the Local Tennis Leagues website to find your nearest league and see when it gets underway.
Here are some key Rounds to look out for if you want to join a Local Tennis League:
- 28 March – 11 April
- 6 June – 20 June
- 15 August – 29 August
- 24 October – 7 November
To enter a Local Tennis League, just follow these simple steps:
- Sign up to Advantage to get your ITF World Tennis Number.
- Head to the Local Tennis Leagues website and create a profile and sync to your LTA Advantage
- Search your area to find your closest league
- Select the Round you’d like to join, sign up and pay
Then you’re all set and ready to go – it’s that easy.
It’s the players’ responsibility to submit their scores to the Local Tennis Leagues website after playing a match.
You can then follow all the latest results and league standings on your league page.
There are prizes for the winners of each group and if you play three matches before the mid-point, you can claim a bonus prize and points!
